YuriFan is a fansite built in 2009 on the foundations of the Yuri Fanlisting (formerly hosted at yuri.diletante.net), which was opened in 2003.

This site is born with the aim of providing with more information and resources to all enthusiasts of shoujo-ai (the manga and anime genre focused on relationships between girls) and, more specifically, of yuri (the most sexual aspect of shoujo-ai).

Please note that those definitions are Western concepts; in Japan, there’s not such difference and the term yuri is used to describe the genre of manga and anime where any aspects of erotic relationships between girls are present.

I have been running the Yuri Fanlisting for six years now, and a lot of you have asked me for more downloads, more videos, more images, etc. Well, I’ve listented to you and I have set up this bilingual fansite in new domain that will also host the lifelong fanlisting most of you have joined.

For this purpose, I set up what is called a planet: that is, a collection of news and articles that other people write on the Internet about a subject. If you click on the titles of the entries, you can read the article on the original site. This way we promote from here the work that these people invest on their websites.

If you want your website about yuri to be part of the “planet” or if you want to stop being part of it, just drop me a line and I will change it asap.
